WELCOME TO CROSS LAKE LODGE!
Cross Lake Lodge is in a remote setting approximately 40 miles from our main camp. Removed from the hustle and bustle of today's busy life. It is not a vacation spot for those who desire all the modern conveniences. Here we have tried to maintain some of the qualities that bring people to the North Country to start with, mainly solitude. With no phone lines, electric supplied only by a generator, heated by a wood stove and cooking done on a propane gas stove, those looking for a "roughing it" experience can find it here. Although the lodge is used for our spring bear hunts during the months of May and June, it may be reserved after that time frame for family vacations and fishing fun. For the fishing enthusiast, the lake has an ample supply of Northern Pike and Lake Trout. For those wishing just to relax and enjoy the scenery, the secluded bays provide protection from the wind for canoes, kayaks and other small crafts. There are numerous secluded lakes adjoining or near by the main lake that may be portaged to and explored or fished. Bring your own boat or rent one of the 16' aluminum boats available at Cross Lake. Cooking utensils, cooking stove, refrigerator, bunk beds, and a relaxing atmoshere are provided by us. You provide your own food and quest for adventure.
